The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has commenced the physical works commencement of Hdh. Kumundhoo Harbor Channel Project and physical works of Ha. Baarah Channel and Maintenance Dredging Project.
Scope of works of Kumundhoo Harbor Channel Project includes 9346.56 cbm of new harbor basin dredging operations, 4954.91 cbm of entrance channel dredging operations, construction of a 142m breakwater, 198m revetment. The value of the project is MVR 35.38 million.
Scope of works of Baarah Channel and Maintenance Dredging Project include channel dredging operations of 28,101 cbm, basin maintenance dredging operations of 3546 cbm, and installation of navigational aids.
The value of the Baarah Channel and Maintenance Dredging Project is MVR 12.17 million.
