Speaker of the Parliament, Mohamed Nasheed meets with the Minister of Defence, Uz Mariya Didi, and senior officials of the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF).

Along with Uz Mariya Didi, Chief of Defence Force, Major General Abdulla Jamaal, and Commander of Special Protection Group (SPG) Colonel Nasrullah Ibrahim joined this meeting held in the parliament administration.

No further details were shared from the speaker of the Parliament nor MNDF.

Meanwhile, in a recent press conference held at the parliament, Nasheed described the ongoing 'India out' campaign as an extremist terrorist group activity.

The 'India Out' campaign was started through concerns raised over the start of Indian military officers working in the country, operating the Dornier flights and helicopters gifted from India.
