Maldives signs a Dollar Credit Line (LOC) Agreement of USD 400 million for the development of the Greater Male’ connectivity bridge.
The development project includes a 6,695-kilometer bridge, and its roundabouts along with 3 bridges connecting Male’, Villingili, Thilafushi, and Gulhifalhu. As per the government, this development project is expected to benefit the country’s economy, its businesses, and the public in general.
The loan agreement for the Greater Male’ Connectivity Project was signed by Finance Minister Ibrahim Ameer and General Manager of India’s Exim Bank Nirmit Ved and Chief Manager Harish Kumar.
The signing ceremony was held at the Finance Ministry on Monday.
