Maldives Meteorological Service has issued a Yellow alert across Noonu to Thaa atoll, including the greater Male’ region.

The alert was issued from 9 Pm till 1 am. During this period, torrential rain, thunderstorm, and rough seas are expected, and winds may gust to 45 miles per hour during showers.

Along with the weather forecast, Local authorities have advised taking adequate precautions when traveling on land or by sea as well.
