The Health Emergency Operation Centre (HEOC) announced that discussions are ongoing to ease more restrictions.

Speaking at the recent press conference, Dr. Nazla said that some of the restrictions are being eased, and considering the decrease in numbers from the pandemic, discussions are ongoing to ease more restrictions.

Recent ease of restrictions in Male’ city includes increasing time for allowing vehicles on the road and reopening of schools.

Dr. Nazla also said that the guidelines of the Health Protection Agency (HPA), should be followed even with the ease of restrictions.

From the recent press conference, Dr. Nazla continues to remind the importance of following guidelines set to prevent the spreading of Covid-19. Meanwhile, she noted that with a decrease in numbers, people have started to believe that Covid-19 is not dangerous, but in reality, it is uncertain and can become dangerous and risky.

Dr. Nazla urges to continue to follow the safety guidelines to prevent further spreading of Covid-19.
