October 14th; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 69 positive cases from 1,221 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 29 Maldivians and 40 Foreigners.

A total of positive cases records 63 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 06 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.

With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Maldives have increased up to 11,062. This includes 1,140 active cases to COVID-19 in the Maldives.

HPA also reported the recovery of 47 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 9,880 people recovered.

There are active COVID-19 cases in 19 resorts and in 19 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. The active cases in resorts include 14 Tourists and 19 staff.

Maldives has recorded 35 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
