September 11th; (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; reports 90 positive cases within 24 hours. This includes 58 Maldivians and 32 Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 78 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 12 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With the new update, as per (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; the total infected cases to Covid-19 has reached up to 8,990 in the Maldives. This includes 2,104 active cases to Covid-19 in Maldives right now.
HPA also reported recovery of 287 infected people adding up to 6,846 as total recovered cases in Maldives.
Currently there are active Covid-19 cases in 25 resorts and in 28 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. So far 17 Tourists and 42 staff have been tested positive to Covid-19 in the resorts.
Maldives has also recorded 31 deaths from Covid-19 up-to-date.
