Along with 2 new positive cases connecting to the Kulhudhuffushi Police station cluster, the total number of cases in connection to the cluster has reached 15 in total.
Two new cases were confirmed through the random sampling taken from 75 Police officers, after 3 foreigners in the catering service at the Kulhudhuffushi Police station, got positive. Amongst the 75 policers who were tested, only 2 police officers reported positive.
As the police officers who tested positive were not in quarantine, contact tracing is being continued.
The first case of covid-19 in Kulhudhuffushi was the police officer who was initially reported positive to covid-19 had traveled between, Ha. Baarah, Ha. Dhidhdhoo, Ha. Hoarafushi, Hdh. Kurinbi, and Sh. Fonadhoo.
