A man who passed away today morning is reported as the 36th death from Covid-19 in the Maldives.
The 67-year-old man was admitted to Hulhumale’ medical facility for further treatment to Covid, while he passed away at 7 am today morning. The Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirms that this would be the 36th death from complications of Covid.
So far 11,154 have been reported positive to Covid-19 in the Maldives, while 1,117 cases are currently active. From which, 384 people are in isolation facilities and 49 people are admitted and treated in hospitals.
As per the recent records of HPA, a total of 9,995 people have been recovered so far.
