October 18th; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 32 positive cases from 1,252 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 27 Maldivians and 05 Foreigners.

A total of positive cases records 21 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 11 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.

With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Maldives have increased up to 11,210. This includes 1,002 active cases to COVID-19 in the Maldives.

HPA also reported the recovery of 67 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 10,164 people recovered.

So far, Maldives has recorded 37 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
