Marketing opportunity open for Local products by Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), at the Dubai Expo.

As per the announcement by the Economic Ministry, Maldives has received the opportunity to market local products as well as local art at the world expo 2020 held in Dubai. Although the expo has been postponed due to Covid-19, the 6 months long expo will be beneficial to promote Small and Medium Enterprises and its products internationally.

The Economic Ministry has requested interesting parties to reach out to the ministry along with contact details before the 28th of October, 12:00 pm. As per the Economic Ministry, an information session will be held for the interested parties on 1st November 2020.

Expo 2020 is a World Expo to be hosted by Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, originally scheduled for October 20, 2020, till April 10, 2021. But due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it has been postponed hence its new dates are October 1, 2021, till March 31, 2022.
