Parliament committee on Independent Institutions schedules discussion for dismissal of Anti Corruption Committee (ACC) members.
The no-confidence motion against the ACC members was submitted to the parliament committee by the Parliament Member Hassan Ahmed. The parliament committee meeting has been scheduled for today, and the presence of ACC members has been requested for the committee meeting as well.
Meanwhile, a lot of parliament members have raised concerns against the Prosecutor General (PG) office dismissal of pressing charges for the 11 officials of the Health Ministry following the ACC’s request to the PG office.
Upon investigation, the ACC has requested the PG Office to press charges for 11 people on the corruption and fraud in connection with the 75 ventilators procured through a Dubai company, against the financial law and procedures.
