MTCC announces Hdh. Kulhudhuffushi Harbour Expansion Project is nearing completion, with an overall 98% project progress.
As per MTCC, from the Hdh. Kulhudhuffushi Harbour Expansion Project is scheduled to be completed, on 30th October 2020. Currently, its ongoing maintenance dredging works for the project are with 30% completion.
Scope of works for the project include harbor basin dredging operations of 236,844cbm; reclamation operations of 24,450cbm, construction of 500m in-situ concrete quay wall, a 500m in-situ concrete topping slab, backfilling of quay wall area, curbstone casting & installation, drainage gutter casting, and installation.
The estimated value of the project is MVR 129,529 million. The project was mobilized, on 26th December 2018.
