Maldives Police service arrested 2 people after checking a home in Male’ City.
The anti-narcotics operation was held jointly by the Drug Enforcement Department and Police Intelligence. Through this operation, a house was checked through a court order.
The operation was conducted on the 20th of October, with the intelligence information received about drug trafficking. A 27-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were arrested through the operation. Police also seized 4 plastic bags, 75 rubber packets, and 841 capsules in suspicion of drugs.
An investigation is ongoing for the case.
