September 12th; (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; reports 62 positive cases within 24hours. This includes 44 Maldivians and 18 Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 51 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 11 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With the new update, as per (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; the total infected cases to Covid-19 has reached up to 9,052 in the Maldives. This includes 1,960 active cases to Covid-19 in Maldives right now.
HPA also reported recovery of 209 infected people adding up to 7,055 as total recovered cases in Maldives.
Currently there are active Covid-19 cases in 26 resorts and in 28 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. Currently, 13 Tourists and 39 staff have been tested positive to Covid-19 in the resorts.
Maldives has also recorded 31 deaths from Covid-19 up-to-date.
