Economic Minister Fayyaz Ismail has responded to critics of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih's government who say the government is slow.

Speaking in a special interview on Raajje TV on the occasion of the 4 year anniversary of the government, Fayyaz asked critics who say the government is slow to go to the islands of the country to see their development instead of talking about this at coffee tables.

He also said that the government is doing and completing things in islands that were never done before by any other government.

Fayyaz stated that the main aim of the government is not doing infrastructure projects more than any previous government but that the government prioritizes doing what the citizens need the most.

He added that giving the people the freedom they yearned for is an aim of the government, and that since there is freedom of speech and the freedom to gather in groups now, many people have forgotten what it was like before without the freedom.

On this program, Fayyaz had talked in depth about the development brought by the government to different districts. He also talked about the updates of some projects.
