The Small Maldives Island Co (TSMIC) has announced the sale of Ifuru Resort, nestled in Raa Atoll, comes with an operational airport.
As per the announcement of TSMIC, Ifuru resort along with Funadhoo island is up for lease for 50 years. The property has a spacious land area of 56.52 hectares, while Funadhoo island has a land area of 12 hectares. With a total of 150 villas, they comprise of six Twin Villas, 100 Duplex Villas, 35 Beach Villas, and nine Beach Villas with Pool, which creates a maximum bed capacity of 300.
Meanwhile, Ifuru Airport has been operating since 2015, currently managed by Island Aviation Services. The airport consists of a 1200 meter runway as well.
The Ifuru resort with Funadhoo island was put up for sale earlier this year as well.
