Safari's docked in Hulhumale'
The law firm representing the victim has sent a letter to the Speaker of the Parliament calling for action against Minister Imran for his statement leading to influence in the ongoing investigation.

As per the letter sent by the Law farm, Minister Imran acted irresponsibly by describing an ongoing safari rape case investigation as a minor incident.

The law firm stated that the victim received death threats by her abusers who touched and grabbed the private parts of the victim before taking the victim forcefully to a room of the safari.

Speaking on a radio program, Minister Imran has said that the safari rape case incident was blown out of context and described it as a minor incident. He also blamed the public for describing the event differently from what has happened and denied that it was a rape case. The law firm representing the victim condemned the statement by Minister Imran as the investigation for the case is still ongoing.

The law firm also calls the Ministers to act irresponsible and questions his capability of representing as a minister, and requested to lodge a case of no confidentiality of him at the parliament.

Meanwhile, following the statement by Minister Imran, an immense public backlash has been caused. Through which, the public has called Minister Imran to resign from his position as the Home Minister as well.
