Deputy Minister of the Transport Ministry Saudulla Ahmed has stated that Maldives' largest private hospital ADK increasing the prices of its services would cause serious difficulties for the people.
ADK has announced that it will increase the prices of its services because expenses have gone up due to the global economic crisis caused by COVID-19 since 2020.
Saudulla said that a 100 percent increase in ADK's prices would be very difficult for many citizens at a time of major economic challenges. He added that it should not be done on a land taken at a cheap price from the government.
