Kanditheemu MP Abdulla Shaheem has stated that there are no people in the country who will come out to change the government of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

Shaheem said this speaking at the rally held by President Solih's campaign team last night. Speaking at the rally, Shaheem said there are no people in Maldives who will come out to change President Solih's government.

Shaheem said that people want a leader who will provide the way for the people to have a peaceful life with their families in their own islands, and that while President Solih is achieving that, people will not come out to change the government.

"While today's government is providing the way for citizens to live easily in their own islands, which Dhvehi citizen will come out to change this government? No, they will not come out. No citizen will come out today. The people are asking today to bring the leader who brought this change and will rule the islands of this country with compassion for a second time," said Shaheem speaking very enthusiastically.

In addition, while highly praising the government of President Solih, Shaheem said that Maldives and the whole world almost went bankrupt because of the pandemic. However, due to the wisdom of President Solih, Shaheem said that Maldives was the first country to open its borders and get back up.

"President Solih's wisdom made this country the first to open its borders and get back up. That is the government we want. We need such a government. Every MDP member has sacrificed immensely for this nation of ours. That today they can stay in their islands is the change we brought. We truly stood against oppression and changed the regime. To get the development we are bringing today," Shaheem said.
