Commissioner of Police Mohamed Hameed has stated that the police have launched a major investigation into the recent fire incidents in Male' and the atolls.
Responding to the fire incicent this morning in the Male' Auction House "Neelan Fihaara", CP Hameed said a major investigation into the recent fire incidents in Male' and the atolls have been launched.
The Commissioner said that the public's cooperation is needed for this.
While CP Hameed has stated this, in November last year an oil tanker caught fire in Th. Vilufushi. And in last December, a fire broke out in tar containers at the Hulhudhoo harbour in Addu City.
After that, last Saturday, a huge fire broke out in the garbage dump in R. Alifushi after fibres there caught fire. And yesterday, a fire broke out in a building of GDh. Fiyoaree School.
