The estimated budget for the upcoming year is scheduled to present at the parliament on Monday, 9th October.
Speaking at the recent parliamentary sitting, the speaker of the parliament, Mr. Mohamed Nasheed announced that the estimated budget for the upcoming year has been submitted at the parliament, and the details of it will be shared with the parliament members once it is in discussion at the parliament sitting.
As per Mohamed Nasheed, the discussion for the budget estimation will be open after 5 days into presenting it at the parliament.
Minister of Finance Ibrahim Ameer has stated that the budget estimated for next year is 35 billion MVR.
