September 13th; (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; reports 121 positive cases within 24hours. This includes 75 Maldivians and 46 Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 102 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 19 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With the new update, as per (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; the total infected cases to Covid-19 has reached up to 9,173 in the Maldives. This includes 1,809 active cases to Covid-19 in Maldives right now.
HPA also reported recovery of 271 infected people adding up to 7,326 as total recovered cases in Maldives.
Currently there are active Covid-19 cases in 32 resorts and in 25 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. 21 Tourists and 48 staff have been tested positive to Covid-19 in the resorts.
Maldives has also recorded 32 deaths from Covid-19 up-to-date.
