Under a special operation carried in Hulhumale', Maldives Police Service arrests two people carrying beer cans.
Police officials have stated that the special operation was carried following an intelligence report on moving beer cans from a Safari to hulhumale’.
Through this operation, a 20-year-old man, and a 25-year-old man was arrested.
Police found them while they were carrying the beer cans on a cycle. Police reported that they had thrown away the bag that they were carrying beer cans in when they spotted Police. When Police checked the bag 96 beer cans, were found in it.
The special operation was carried jointly with the special operation police based in Hulhumale’ and the Police intelligence department.
