November 4th; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 26 positive cases from 1,130 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 21 Maldivians and 05 Foreigners.
A total of positive cases records 21 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 05 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Maldives have increased up to 11,822. This includes 786 active cases to COVID-19 in the Maldives.
HPA also reported the recovery of 29 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 10,991 people recovered.
There are active Covid-19 cases in 30 resorts and in 18 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. 46 Tourists and 127 staff have been tested positive for covid-19 in the resorts.
So far, Maldives has recorded 38 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
