Ministry of Finance records show that Maldives has received 11.3 billion MVR as revenue.

As per the Ministry of Finance, till October 29th, the state has received 11.3 billion MVR as revenue, while state expenditure is up to 21.7 billion MVR.

Statistics show that 77% of the revenue is generated from the tax. Furthermore, the state earned 3.4 billion MVR from GST and 740 million MVR from fees and other charges taken from the state.

Finance Ministry has stated that the state earned 110 million MVR from fines paid to the state in the last 43 weeks.

Along with the 11 billion MVR earned as revenue, the state has spent 8.1 billion MVR for salaries and allowances, as per the Finance Ministry.
