The N. Manadhoo Council has put out a notice seeking a contractor to install CCTV cameras in the island, following the brutal murder of Naeema.
The Manadhoo Council requested in their announcement that those who are interested in installing security cameras in various parts of the island should register before 2:00 pm on April 17.
The Council has asked those interested to submit bids by the 27th of this month. According to the Council, applicants must be registered with the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
Naeema Moosa, 62, who lived alone in Manadhoo, was found murdered last Friday evening. So far, Police have not released much details about the case.
Since there were suspicious elements in Naeema’s death, the investigation is being conducted as a homicide. As such, a special investigation team from the Serious and Organized Crime Department, a forensic investigation team and a forensic pathologist are active in Manadhoo.
Naeema's body has been buried now after taking samples and information needed for the investigation.
