A large number of women have joined Jumhooree Party once again with the initiative of Transport Minister Nahula.

As JP is preparing for the September 9 presidential election, a large number of women are joining the party.

JP's Deputy Leader and Transport Minister Aishath Nahula handed over the forms to the newly joined women at a ceremony held at M. Kunooz last night by the JP Women's League. A large number of young women joined JP at this ceremony.

While JP has decided to contest the presidential election and has started its campaign activities, the party is focusing most on increasing its membership, and increasing its activities in the atolls.

As such, JP has decided to elect presidents for the 87 constituencies represented in the Parliament. 50 signatures should be submitted to apply for the posts.
