Spokesperson of the President's Office, Miuvaan Mohamed has stated that before the current government came to power, previous governments provided utility services very poorly.

Speaking at a press conference at the President's Office, Spokesperson Miuvaan said that the previous governments had been providing utility services very poorly. And that the current government is working hard to provide utility services to the people in a good and sustainable manner. And that Fenaka Corporation has already made huge investments in this regard.

"I would like to mention that the power plants in various islands were previously noisy power plants in the middle of the islands. To save the people from the damage and inconvenience they were causing, Fenaka is working to relocate the power plants away from inhabited areas. Fenaka is doing a lot more too in addition to this and because of this, expenses are getting high," said Miuvaan.

In addition, Miuvaan said that Fenaka Corporation has assured the government that it will pay the money due to other companies and that the payment process is already ongoing. However, Miuvaan said that there are challenges faced by the corporation in paying the bills and the government will continue to work to resolve these issues.

The spokesperson said no illegal transactions had been made with the corporation's funds. However, the corporation is buying vehicles and other equipment on a regular basis.
