November 6th; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 39 positive cases from 1,473 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 20 Maldivians and 19 Foreigners.
A total of positive cases records 32 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 07 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Maldives have increased up to 11,932. This includes 838 active cases to COVID-19 in the Maldives.
HPA also reported the recovery of 31 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 11,041 people recovered.
There are active Covid-19 cases in 28 resorts and in 15 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. 52 Tourists and 120 staff have been tested positive for covid-19 in the resorts.
So far, Maldives has recorded 39 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
