According to the Youth Ministry Director General Ali Zaki, there is opportunity for youth, but the problem is them not taking advantage of it.
Ali Zaki highlighted this while speaking to a local media on lack of support from youth in grabbing opportunities open for Youth developments. Adding that the workshops conducted by the Youth Ministry to familiarize the youth with the working environment are receiving little response.
Zaki said more than 50 young people registered when the Youth Ministry opened opportunities for youths who want to enter the workshops. These are very important workshops to prepare young people entering the workforce, he said.
"However, the number of participants drops to five or sic when called to confirm their participation," Zaki explained.
Stressing the importance of the Youth Ministry workshops, Zaki said it is very important to listen to the experts and prepare to enter the workforce. Therefore, the youth should be familiar with taking advantage of the opportunity, he said.
