The local man who passed away this Tuesday morning is the 47th death reported from Covid-19 complications in the Maldives.
The 75-year-old man was admitted to Hulhumale’ medical facility for further treatment to Covid-19, while he passed away at 07:49 am on Tuesday. The Health Protection Agency (HPA) confirms that this would be the 47th death from complications of Covid.
Although the daily positive cases reported are decreased, over 13,000 cases have been reported positive to Covid-19 in the Maldives.
