December 4th; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 37 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded includes 30 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 07 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 13,143 cases, including 890 active cases to Covid-19 recorded within the last 24 hours.
So far, HPA has taken 251,860 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 1,753 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 45 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 12,199.
According to HPA, there are 78 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 47 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
