Mohamed Wajeeh Ibrahim, CEO of Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), has called on the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to investigate the authenticity of documents currently circulating on social media, allegedly from MPL. This request comes amid growing rumors and speculation regarding the leaked documents.

In a recent interview with a local media, Wajeeh addressed the issue, highlighting that the true nature of the documents could only be confirmed by reviewing all the contained information comprehensively. He expressed suspicion that internal issues within MPL might have led to the document leaks, indicating a potential breach of confidentiality within the company.

Wajeeh noted that many of the circulating documents are vague and their purposes unclear, further complicating the situation. Despite the leaks, he reassured the public that no actions against the company's rules and regulations have taken place recently. He emphasized his commitment to adhering strictly to company policies since assuming the CEO position.

To enhance transparency and accountability, Wajeeh mentioned that procurement, finance, and human resources matters have been assigned to a special division under his management. He promised to provide further information once the division completes its review and work, aiming to address any concerns regarding MPL's operations and reinforce the company's commitment to integrity.
