His Excellency Dr Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security of United Arab Emirates, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu at the President's Office on Wednesday.
Speaking at the meeting, the President welcomed the UAE's Head of Cyber Security to the Maldives and spoke on the long-standing friendly relations between the Maldives and UAE. President Dr Muizzu expressed gratitude to the leadership and the Government of the UAE, for the considerable assistance and opportunities granted to the Maldives over the years, emphasising that it stands as a testament to the brotherly relations between the two countries.
The President and the Head of Cyber Security of UAE spoke on enhancing cooperation in cyber security and data protection, mitigating misinformation and disinformation, and the importance of facilitating training opportunities for officials to keep up with the technological advancements.
