He encouraged citizens to appreciate and be grateful for their current circumstances rather than assuming any position or privilege is permanent. "Don’t think anything is your permanent right," Vice President advised.

This guidance comes as Vice President continues to hold a significant role in the government, having been appointed as Vice President by President Dr. Muizzu, following instructions from former President Yameen. Prior to his vice-presidential role, Vice President served as a Member of Parliament for the Faresmathoda Constituency, representing the PPM for two terms.
