President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has appointed Ibrahim Hood, from the Chief Communications Strategist, to head the Communications Office at the President’s Office.
The move follows the resignation of Hassan Ismail, the Secretary of Communications, at the President’s Office. Hassan Ismail tendered his resignation from the post on January 24.
As the new appointment, Hood will oversee all the responsibilities of the Communications Office.
Hood previously served in several posts at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the President’s Office. He has also served as the Spokesperson of President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.
