The work of three key ministries disrupted by a recent fire will resume tomorrow, announced the Minister of Construction and Infrastructure, Dr. Abdullah Muthalib, during a press conference today.

The affected ministries include the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Housing, and the Ministry of Environment. The fire, which halted their operations, caused extensive damage to essential systems and infrastructure.

Dr. Muthalib confirmed that all necessary preparations have been completed to restart operations tomorrow at Dharubaaruge. He stated that the services offered by these ministries would be available to the public as well.

A significant contribution to the recovery came from the Chinese government, which donated computer systems to replace those destroyed in the fire. Dr. Muthalib noted that this support has been instrumental in ensuring the ministries are fully equipped to resume their duties without delay.

He highlighted the government’s efforts to prioritize public services, emphasizing the President’s active role in overseeing the recovery process. He assured the public that significant progress had been made and that services would be restored promptly.
