The Government of Maldives has strongly condemned the recent bombing of Al-Nuseirat Camp in central Gaza by Israeli occupation forces, which resulted in the massacre of several innocent civilians.

In a statement, the government expressed its deep concern over the escalating violence and its devastating impact on the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

The Maldives reaffirmed its position that such repeated and blatant violations of international law, particularly international humanitarian law, must be stopped. The targeting of civilians continues to exacerbate the dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with the government calling for urgent and effective interventions from the international community to bring an end to these acts of aggression.

The government also reiterated its call for immediate and decisive action from the international community to halt Israel’s attacks, de-escalate the violence, and ensure the protection of innocent civilians. Furthermore, the Maldives stressed the importance of pursuing lasting peace in the region to prevent further loss of life and suffering.

Standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people, the Government of Maldives expressed its unwavering support for their pursuit of justice and statehood, emphasizing the need for global efforts to achieve a just and lasting resolution to the ongoing conflict.
