The Maldives' Zakat House has extended its support to Gaza by funding a water supply project through the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS).
The initiative aims to alleviate water scarcity in Gaza by distributing 50,000 cases of bottled water to 60,000 underserved individuals. As part of the project, 6,000 cases of water have already been delivered to patients at Al-Shifa Hospital and Al-Hayat Hospital, ensuring access to clean drinking water for those in critical need.
The effort underscores the collaboration between the Maldives' Zakat House and QRCS, reflecting a shared commitment to humanitarian aid in regions facing dire challenges.
This initiative not only brings immediate relief but also highlights the importance of international cooperation in addressing global humanitarian crises.
