President of Estonia, His Excellency Dr. Alar Karis, officially welcomed President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and his delegation as they arrived in Estonia for an official visit at the invitation of the Estonian President.
The welcoming ceremony took place this afternoon at the Presidential Palace in Kadriorg, where the Estonian military played the national anthems of both countries. Following this, President Dr. Muizzu and President Dr. Karis inspected the Guard of Honour.
As part of the ceremony, President Dr. Muizzu was introduced to Estonian dignitaries, while Maldivian dignitaries were introduced to President Dr. Karis. The two leaders then took a commemorative photograph before President Dr. Muizzu signed the Visitor's Book at the Palace.
