Her Excellency Ishigami Rumiko, the newly appointed Ambassador of Japan to the Maldives, formally met with President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu at a ceremony held at the President's Office this morning.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Rumiko presented her Letters of Credence to the President, who warmly welcomed her to the Maldives.
