He reiterated that the language has played a crucial role in the survival of the Maldivian people throughout history.
The President, who has previously expressed his vision to build generations that think in Dhivehi, urged Maldivians to prioritize and cherish their mother tongue while also pursuing proficiency in other languages and sciences. He highlighted that mastering one’s native language is essential for effectively learning other disciplines.
