The Jumhooree Party (JP) has issued a warning to the public about fraudulent social media accounts impersonating its Deputy Leader and former Transport Minister, Aishath Nahla.

According to the party, scammers have created fake accounts using Nahla’s photos and personal details to deceive the public, with reports of fraudulent withdrawals linked to these accounts.

JP urged the public to be cautious and avoid clicking on any links or following instructions from messages sent under Nahla’s name. The party emphasized that Nahla’s genuine social media accounts are verified, while fake ones lack verification badges.

Authorities have been alerted, and JP assured that necessary action is being taken against those behind the fraudulent accounts.
