The Transport Ministry has announced changes to freight transport hours during the month of Ramadan.
According to the ministry’s statement, vehicles will be permitted to transport goods from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM during the first 20 days of Ramadan. Additionally, goods can be loaded from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
In the last 10 days of Ramadan, freight transport will be allowed from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM and again from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
The ministry has warned that violators of these regulations will face a MVR 750 fine under the Road Traffic Act.
