The Housing Ministry has stated that complaints regarding the recently announced flat list will be investigated if they are supported by sufficient evidence.
Speaking to state media, Housing Ministry State Minister Ibrahim Nazim said it is not yet clear whether the list will be revised. However, the government has opened the opportunity for complaints to allow applicants to challenge the decision.
“The opportunity to file complaints gives applicants a chance to challenge the government’s decision if they are dissatisfied with the list,” Nazim explained.
He assured that if complaints are submitted with concrete evidence, they will be thoroughly investigated and verified. Based on the findings, changes may be made to the list if necessary.
The government released the revised list of eligible beneficiaries for 4,000 flats on the 27th of last month, after a review process. The complaints submission window was opened last Saturday and will remain open until the end of this month.
A large number of complaints have already been filed against the updated list.
