Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) has opened the opportunity for residents to pay the security deposit required to begin the handover of 4,000 flats under the Housing Project.
Residents who have already signed flat agreements have been informed that they can now make their payments through the FDC portal. So far, FDC has signed agreements with over 3,000 people.
The project, developed by two Indian companies, requires residents of two-bedroom units to pay a security deposit of MVR 15,000, a maintenance fee of MVR 1,000, and rent of MVR 7,000. For three-bedroom units, the payments include a security deposit of MVR 25,000, a maintenance fee of MVR 1,500, and rent of MVR 9,500.
FDC will also register residents who have signed flat agreements for essential services, including water, electricity, gas, and cable, ensuring a smooth transition into their new homes.
The initiative marks a key milestone in the Housing Project, bringing closer the long-awaited handover of units to eligible residents.
