The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has signed an agreement with Fenaka Corporation Limited to construct an Islamic center in Sh. Foakaidhoo.

The agreement was signed by Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed on behalf of the government, while Fenaka’s Managing Director, Major (Rtd) Mohamed Najah, represented the company.

The new Islamic center will include a prayer hall, a multi-purpose hall, a library, and classrooms. The project has been awarded to Fenaka with a completion deadline of 900 days from the commencement date.

The construction of the Islamic center is part of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s electoral pledges.
