Islamic Minister Mohammed Shaheem Ali Saeed has called for the immediate lifting of all occupations and sanctions in Gaza, urging international action to aid the Palestinian people.
Shaheem made the remarks while addressing a national rally at Maafannu Stadium on Friday evening, attended by hundreds of people, including government ministers, members of the Palestinian community, and Maldivians of all age groups.
The minister condemned Israeli aggression and criticized international powers supporting Israel. He called for the opening of Gaza’s borders to allow humanitarian aid, including convoys for children and medical supplies, to reach those in need.
Shaheem also emphasized the importance of remaining committed to the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and encouraged the Palestinian people to continue their fight against Zionist forces.
