President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has conferred the Order of the Dignified Rule of Muleege Dynasty (O.D.R.M.D) on His Excellency Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Murshid, Chief Executive of the Saudi Fund for Development, in recognition of his significant contributions to the Maldives.
The national honor was presented at an official ceremony held Monday morning at the President’s Office.
The Order of the Dignified Rule of the Muleege Dynasty commemorates the reign of Al-Sultan Muhammed Shamsuddin. The President's decision to honor Al-Murshid acknowledges his dedicated efforts in strengthening the development partnership between the Maldives and the Saudi Fund for Development, which has played a vital role in the country’s social and economic progress.
The presentation of the honor was made under the authority granted to the President under Article 115 of the Constitution and Section 3 of Law 1/97.
